We are out there....

I was in the local grocery market today and ran into a person that I have deep respect for. Hadn't really seen him in over 20 years. He taught my daughter HS Social Studies and he asked how she was doing. They obviously connected, as my daughter has told me that he was her favorite teacher in her HS years. I knew him differently back in the early 90's. We both served together on our town planning board back in the early 90s. A thankless job, really. He was my mentor, as far as his approach to the environmental impact of the permitting process that the board oversaw.

The man has got to be pushing 80 now and he has a physical palsy. But he has a great attitude. Every week he submits a LTE to the local newspaper detailing what this administration is doing and how it will ultimately effect all of us. I thanked him for that effort. He chuckled and said. "it's a no brainer. I'm a teacher, that's my job."

On edit, as suggested. changed the Subject line from "They" to "We" Because that's a far better descriptor.

A proposal to consider a new forum at DU - DU Charts

I posted ed on this thread-
https://www.democraticunderground.com/100220176044

My comments-

10. Stock price to actual sales would be interesting charts to combine and update.

I'd really like to follow these 2 datapoints......would be a great chart for DU to create/update....perhaps an entire forum of easy to understand - MAGAT simple DU Charts that report the effects of the Trump regime's effort to destroy this country. We should / could use important metrics to monitor, going forward.....maybe add Biden's last 12 months as the baseline reference. For example, Wholesale price of eggs vs. Bird Flu/CDC policy funding changes. And give DU Charts front page exposure.

It takes an Organized Crime Party to make a 1 Party State. Just ask Vlad.

They took over the rotted elephant carcass that was the GOP.

Biden should have asked the question....why the Southern immigration in the 1st place.

US foreign policy in the 60s/70's/80s? Killing Democracy...think of Central/South American as political laboratories. How to install pro-corporate interests in place of the people's interests? We reap what we sow.

They were just more different back then. Definitely not making AM radio play.

On edit: Some really great vocal synchronicity between Weir and Garcia....Weir had a high range voice back then.

I feel like I'm in a super charged Tesla hurtling down the Great American Highway......

No one in control with 4 wheels missing 40% of their tire lug nuts.
